This grant is a component of the Consent Decree (CD) which was signed into effect in August 2003. The Technical Assistance Plan Grant (TAPG) is a component of the CD. The CD contains PCB clean-up mandates. During clean-up efforts, documents and data are generated that contain technical language. This grant provides funding for the West Anniston Foundation to hire a Technical Advisor (TA) to serve as a liaison between the technical “side” of the CD and the community “side” of the CD. The TA’s primary responsibility is to interpret these documents and data and communicate these interpretations to the broader community.
